In a move that will see over 80 schools joining together in Sports and Music, Church Owned and Church related institutions will start working together for a common goal dubbed “No school left behind”.
The decision was reached upon during the meeting of the Heads of institutions of education that have an Adventist link.  The meeting which is held every first term holiday usually at Kireka SDA Primary School was well attended with over 95 in attendance.

The  Sub committees of Sports and Music zeroed on the month of June as the most convenient  to hold these joint events so as to leave  room for Weeks of Prayers and Mock exams which characterize Term Two of the Academic year.
The dates for the Music Feastival will be reached upon but the categories will meet at different days i.e. Primary Music Gala and secondary Music gala.
The Sports committee also agreed that the Primary hold their event on a separate day from the Secondary schools.
“June is bound to be very busy  since  we also have to organize TMI which started in May climaxing on the 23rd  June in mass baptisms all over CUC.” Noted Pr. Kaggwa Rogers the Director of Education in CUC. “However, time is limited so activities have to share the little time available to students. We cannot use term 3 since it’s a promotional term with sensitive exams for PLE,UCE and UACE”
The two subcommittees sit late May to harmonize dates for the events.
