KYADONDO BUGANDA YOUTH LEADERS VISIT CUC

Central Uganda Conference headquarters staff led by the President were pleasantly surprised by an unexpected request and subsequent visit by the Baganda Youth Leaders from the eleven (11)  Gombolola (subcounties) of  Essaza  Kyaddondo.(County)


On Wednesday 9th May 2018, over 40 youth leaders, led by the Kaggo who was represented by the Ow’omuluka Ssaabaddu  Kira Ms. Namukwaya Betty  together with Hajji BB Katongole Muntumukulu  , arrived at the Conference smartly dressed in their cultural regalia of Kanzus for men and Gomesi for the ladies.
Hajji Katongole  introduced them and gave the reason for their visit as “the need to begin a new term of service with dedication to God and advice from our religious leaders”
On his part Pr. Kajoba Samuel the CUC Executive Director, thanked them for starting off with God and gave them powerful tips on how to succeed as leaders basing his message on a large part on the Jethro’s advice to Moses on choosing leaders in Exodus 18:21.
Ms. Namukwaya Betty  the Ow’omuluka Ssabaddu Kira  thanked the SDA Church for their Christian values exemplified by their peaceful existence and pledged the support of Buganda in the construction of Kireka Adventist Hospital.
The youth appreciated the gesture by donating gifts to the Conference leadership and later were hosted to a sumptuous luncheon. On their way back, they toured Kireka Adventist Hospital which is under construction and they pledged to support the project.
