A powerful Religious Liberty Sabbath which was held at Najjanankumbi  Church  proved very fruitful both to the  CUC and to Najjanankumbi Church.

The  day which is held every third Sabbath in a year  helps the SDA  Church to  focus on the liberty of Individuals  to freely choose what to believe or not. Many Adventists are challenged because they are not given freedom to worship on Sabbath from the schools where they study from and others do not Saturday off from their jobs.
Pr. Kaggwa Rogers, the preacher at the Celebrations of the which were held at Najjanankumbi noted that “Religious Freedom goes as far as to require us to pray not only for Adventists but also for those of other faiths who suffer under oppressive regimes which hinder their freedom to believe and practice their faith.”
The Guest of Honor who is the Minister of State for Primary Education and Women MP for Wakiso District Mrs. Senninde Rose appreciated the Adventist Church for their steadfast fight for the freedoms of Worship and thanked the government for its upholding of Religious Freedom for the past 30 years.
She however cautioned that Religious Freedom has given leeway to various “false prophets” who have grossly abused the freedom to fleece millions of unsuspecting followers even killing them.
Pr. Kaggwa Rogers  who doubles as The Education and Communications Director at CUC requested  the Guest of Honor to remind His Excellency the President of Uganda on his pledge to assist in Saturday lessons to be banned in public institutions, the Guest of Honor promised to remind the president of the fact.
Mrs. Senninde, whose husband ( a Protestant) had a rare chance of attending a General Conference Session over 15 years ago, donated One million shillings (1,000,000/-) to the expansion projects of Najjanankumbi SDA Church.
