DIRECTORS AND HEADTEACHERS PLEDGE TO WORK WITH CHURCH

Directors and Owners of Church related institutions, together with their head teachers have pledged to work with the Seventh-day Adventist Church Education Department to enhance the training of the learners in Adventist Philosophy of Education.
In a meeting of the Church Related Institution heads which happened in January at the Conference offices, the Treasurer of the Conference, Eld. Miiro Edward,   pointed out that using the Church name helps these schools to get learners and the public sees them as Adventists and they trust them with their children. It then becomes very important for these institutions to operate in the expectations of the parents and the church.
The Education Director of the Conference Pr. Kaggwa Rogers encouraged them to emulate Midland High School which contributes to the Church Education Fund, a fund that helps in renovation and construction of other education institutions for the church.
In an exciting move, one of the Directors  noted that the contribution was long overdue  and requested for the Bank Account to start remitting in Term One 2019.
Over 45 people participated in the program and topics handled included Staffing, Denominational Tithe, Operations, Chaplainancy issues in schools, TMI in schools, Church Fee, and discussions.
